We, in the Los Angeles area, are suffering the greatest devastation in our history, with thousands of homes destroyed and countless people unhomed. We ask for your prayers to the Lord and to the Most Holy Mother of God in this time of sorrow. Below is the Icon of the Holy Mother of God, Queen of the Angels, Protectress of Los Angeles, which depicts the Theotokos spreading Her arms over the city. All of our main Orthodox Churches are shown in the Icon, Greek, Serbian, Antiochian, and Russian, with our Cathedral in the center. Below the Holy Icon are found petitions of prayer, in English and Church Slavonic, blessed by our Ruling Bishop, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America, to be read in all our parishes. May the All-Merciful Lord and the Holy Mother of God protect us in these times of trouble.
We have at least three families in our parish, whose homes were completely destroyed, and many others who have had to evacuate. If you wish to donate to help these families, please use the yellow "Donate" button at the left side of this page.

Мы просим Ваших молитв Господу и Пресвятой Богородице в это печальное время. Ниже изображена Икона Пресвятой Богородицы, Царицы Ангелов, Покровительницы Лос Анджелеса, изображающую Богородицу распространяющую Свои Пречистые руки над городом. Все наши главные православные храмы показаны на Иконе, Греческие, Сербские, Антиохийские, и Русские, с нашим Собором посредине. Под Святой Иконой помещены молитвенные прошения, которые благословил наш Правящий Архиерей, Высокопреосвященнейший Архиепископ Кирилл, для провозглашения во всех наших приходах. Да сохранит нас всех Всемилостивый Господь и Пресвятая Богородица в это тревожное время.
